Helping individuals and workplaces define, create and implement their own version of wellbeing.

I’m Amy,

Founder of The Wellness Strategy.

I work with individuals and workplaces, helping them understand what wellbeing is, develop wellbeing literacy, and to co-design and create wellbeing strategies and interventions that work.

There is so much to be said about wellbeing and culture, yet it is hard to know what to do. In a time where workloads are increasing, burnout is on the rise, and we look for ways to be more flexible and to support staff, we are often left to our own devices to try and make sense of what is needed and how we can support ourselves and others. The same can be said for our own wellbeing; we know it matters, but finding what works, prioritising time, and putting this into practice is easier said than done.

With an abundance of self-help books now available, and wellbeing becoming a crucial part of workplace health and safety, where do you start and what do you do?

This is not an easy question to answer.

No quick fixes, one-size fits all solutions, or 1-day PD events or short-course you can do that will solve everything. Elevating your own wellbeing, and workplace wellbeing, means developing new habits, creating change, and evolving. It takes time, strategy, and work, and is what we are here to help you achieve.

School Leader - 2023

Amy has a pragmatic approach and the clarity of her Wellbeing Framework for Teachers makes the complex dynamic of teacher wellbeing accessible for staff and leaders.  It can be easily understood and implemented to truly understand what can be done by and for staff  to support their wellbeing in order for them to undertake the critically important work they do for students.

Teacher - 2023

I really enjoyed the PD day.
Your introduction telling your story of your own journey (that tiredness is hard hey!!😳) resonated so strongly with me. I felt like it could have been me telling my story and really fought back tears listening.
I am currently well on my own wellbeing journey and incorporating a lot of your practices.
I really enjoyed the way you started with individual wellbeing and then to collective wellbeing with the commitment, accountability and action focus.
Thanks again for the day and looking forward to the wellbeing journey we go on this year.

Teacher - 2023

I’ve been fortunate enough to meet and work with Amy through my school workplace — and only within a few months, have learnt so many useful strategies for both personal and professional wellbeing. We had the opportunity to meet with Amy recently on a call with our teaching team and just from that call, I have already started to implement the strategies she suggested to help balance different areas of my wellbeing and work-life balance! I absolutely love that wellbeing is becoming more valued in workplaces.
